中国工程哲学视域下经验转向的内在困境与消解路径

摘要:

经验转向是当代西方技术哲学研究中的一个重要倡议,其旨在通过将技术经验充分描述为哲学反思奠定可靠的知识基础,从而打开技术的黑箱。然而,两次经验转向的尝试均未能真正打开技术黑箱,其中一个重要原因在于实践工程师的缺席。而中国工程哲学恰好是在工程师的推动下建立和发展起来的,工程师-哲学家的合作模式不仅使研究本身就处于“技术”之内,而且由工程师团队完成的案例研究还为系统的哲学反思提供了充分的经验材料,因此工程哲学的研究模式可以为经验转向的现有困境提供一个有效的消解路径。这启示中国工程哲学应以此为契机积极参与到国际工程技术哲学研究的议题讨论和问题解决中,以拓宽理论的解释力,增强工程哲学的国际影响。

Abstract:

Empirical turn is an important initiative for contemporary western philosophy of technology. It' s aiming for providing reliable knowledge for philosophical reflection through empirically adequate description of technology to achieve a true understanding of it. However, neither of the two attempts made the turn to the empirical as expected resulting from the fact that engineers were absent. Chinese philosophy of engineering on the other hand was founded and promoted by practising engineers from the very beginning. Its research orientation combines practice with theory and roots in the practice,based on that the systematical theories were constructed, demonstrating Chinese logic and Chinese discourse style. We should actively play a role for the possible discussions and solutions of disputes in western philosophy of technology to both verify the applicability of our theories and improve our international impacts.
